Job Title: Full-time Community Ed Coordinator/Activities Director/Transportation Director
Title of Supervisor: Superintendent
Job Summary: The Community Ed Coordinator/Activities Director/Transportation Director is responsible for direct oversight of the community education programs, athletic and extra-curricular programs, and all district transportation. This position is responsible for carrying out all school policies pertaining to these three areas. This position shall promote well-planned programs having a long-range vision with continuity and coordination in all three areas. This position will report directly to the building principals and the superintendent of schools.
This job summary describes the general information and nature of work expected of an individual assigned to this position. Employees may be required to perform other job related duties as requested by their supervisor.
Qualifications: -Knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles and philosophy of lifelong learning, public education, and relationship of community education to K-12 programming
-Experience in promoting, advertising, and informing the public of programs.
– Working knowledge of web-based registration systems, analysis of data, and computer software programs
-Knowledge of theories, philosophy and approaches to adult and youth programs, evaluation, supervision.
-Experience supervising and managing staff. Supervise, Monitor, and Evaluate staff.
-Experience working in a fast-paced environment; adaptable when managing multiple tasks, shifting priorities; ease at managing competing demands and determining priorities independently.
-Outstanding organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with a high degree of accuracy and limited direction.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to communicate complex ideas simply and concisely
-Excellent decision-making, problem solving, and group facilitation skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively with other experienced professionals including school principals, assistant principals, teachers, and partnership colleagues.
-Ability to maintain discretion regarding confidential matters.
-Ability to plan and coordinate transportation needs for the school district.

Full-Time Elementary Teacher (4th Grade)
Fulda Public Schools has an opening for a full-time elementary teacher opening for the remainder of the 2018-19 school year. This position will most likely be teaching 4th grade. School District Information:
- The New London-Spicer Schools serves nearly 1,550 k-12 students. In addition, children, families, and other district residents are served through early childhood and community education programs. Educational and support programs are delivered in three school buildings: Prairie Meadows (Pre-K, ECFE/ECSE, School Readiness) in Spicer, Prairie Woods Elementary (K-4) in New London, and the New London-Spicer High School (9-12) and Middle School (5-8) in New London.
