We are searching for a dynamic Marketing and Communications Coordinator to join our team under the guidance of the Community Education Director. As the Marketing and Communications Coordinator, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and identifying communication strategies that enhance the positive image of Community Education.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Communication: Develop and implement effective communication strategies to promote a positive image of Community Education. Identify opportunities for positive media coverage, publicity, and marketing campaigns.
Event Coordination: Play a pivotal role in planning and executing special events, ensuring they align with the organization’s goals and contribute to positive community relations.
Fundraising Support: Collaborate on fundraising efforts by creating compelling communication materials and campaigns that resonate with donors and community members.
Media Relations: Respond to media inquiries, cultivate positive relationships with media outlets, and act as a spokesperson for Community Education when necessary.
Publication Preparation: Take the lead in preparing publications that highlight the achievements and initiatives of Community Education, both internally and within the community.
Leadership Role: Serve as a leader within the Community Education department, providing guidance and support in communication-related matters.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivelent experience) in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
Proven experience in developing and implementing successful communication and marketing strategies.
Strong writing and editing skills, with an ability to create compelling content.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership abilities.
Familiarity with fundraising and event coordination.
