District 518 Community Education is seeking a part-time bilingual/multilingual Family & Community Liaison. This position is designed to assist area residents with understanding and navigating community and school resources and opportunities. Employee will help people connect with resources relevant to their needs. Required abilities include speaking, reading, and writing skills in English and at least one other language; strong organizational skills; strong interpersonal skills; and basic computer skills. Benefits are prorated based on the full-time equivalency (FTE). Schedule will be at least 24 hours per week, 12 months of the year. Some of the benefits include paid holidays, PERA retirement matching contributions, and accrual of paid sick leave.
