Russell-Tyler-Ruthton (RTR) Public Schools is seeking a (6-12) Secondary Principal with a current MN license in Professional Administrative Principal K-12; or the ability to obtain this licensure. The RTR School District is a rural southwest MN school district with approximate enrollment of 660 students; encompassing the communities of Russell, Tyler, and Ruthton.  The RTR School District just opened a new (PreK – 12) facility in Tyler, MN in September 2021.  See District Webpage:  rtrschools.org.

Successful Secondary Principal Candidate must be able to meet the following needs of the District:

·         Execute the school’s vision, mission, and strategic goals to support success for all students.

·         Drive instructional improvements by implementing proven student growth strategies.

·         Facilitate the design and implementation of rigorous, standards-based instruction.

·         Drive decision making with data, always be transparent, and then motivate staff to improve.

·         Provide strong and collaborative leadership with an honest, transparent, and inclusive style.

·         Demonstrate commitment to high academic, social-emotional, and whole child development.

·         Establish and maintain a safe and nurturing environment for students, staff, and families.

·         Adhere to all Federal/State education mandates and regulations such as IDEA, 504, and Title IX.

·         Comply with all local, state, and federal laws, policies, and collective bargaining agreements.

·         Enforce guidelines and policies for staff and students to maintain proper discipline and conduct.

·         Engage effectively with District Office on personnel, equipment, supplies, and budgets.

·         Promote a positive school climate to encourage leadership and to actively engage in learning.

·         Advocate for family and community engagement in support of all school initiatives.

·         Demonstrate high of level communication skills with ability to foster strong relationships.

·         Demonstrate knowledge of technology for instruction, management, and communication.

·         Demonstrate success as an educational leader with proven ability to raise achievement scores.

Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE) Teacher

Worthington Public Schools (ISD518) is seeking to hire a full time Developmental Adapted Physical Education (DAPE) Teacher for the 2022- 2023 school year. In this role, the teacher will provide special education instruction for students that includes development of physical fitness, motor fitness, fundamental motor skills and patterns, individual and group games and sports.  The teacher will participate in and conduct portions of the evaluations and observations to determine special education eligibility of students placed in the program and conduct periodic assessments to determine educational progress of the students.  The teacher will assist in developing Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals and objectives and participates in IEP meetings for students in the program. Candidates with DAPE licensure will be given preference, but those with a physical education (PE) licensure will be considered as well.
