Secondary Principal (5-12): West Central Area Public Schools
The West Central Area Public Schools is seeking candidates for the full time Secondary Principal position to join the district’s dynamic administrative team. The West Central Area School District’s administrators serve as instructional leaders, learners, and managers of the school environment guided by the district mission, vision, and strategic goals. The candidate must possess the ability to enhance student performance, especially in identifying strategies that close achievement gaps while raising the bar for student achievement. Our leaders promote a collaborative, positive and professional climate for students, staff, and community.
Job Requirements
Applicants must hold an administrative license issued by the State of Minnesota or be eligible to obtain a license at the time the application is submitted. Experience as a school administrator is preferred.

-Articulates organizational purpose and priorities to the community and media
-Demonstrates an understanding of conflict resolution and problem-solving strategies
-Experience with school improvement and integration of new programs
-Student-centered learning as a focus

-Ability to lead, counsel, and supervise a variety of personnel and programs
