LEADERSHIP PROFILE: The West Central Area School Board seeks a superintendent who:

  • Possesses strong character, acting with honesty in an ethical manner while interacting with the School Board, staff, and community
  • Is a “people person” with proven abilities in human relations and communications (written and verbal)
  • Has knowledge in school finance and long-term facility maintenance planning and management
  • Is a strategic thinker who can create and communicate a vision that encompasses what is best for staff and students
  • Has a history of involvement and visibility in the school district and the community you live in and promotes accessibility to the School Board, staff, students, parents, and community
  • Delegates authority while maintaining accountability
  • Works collaboratively with the School Board and provides options and recommendations for the     School Board to consider

Previous superintendent experience preferred, but not required.

SALARY/CONTRACT: A competitive compensation package, with a minimum salary of $115,000, will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. The contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statute.

Human Resources Director

MARSS Specialist

Job Summary: Responsible for the management and maintenance of the ISD 152 Minnesota Automated Reporting Student System (MARSS) Maintain student records, research, provide training to appropriate staff, collect and correct data, train end-users on MARSS reporting and the computer system process changes.  Reporting responsibilities include MARSS CRDC (Civil Rights Data Collection), Perkins (Career and Technical Education Program), ELSA (Early Learning Scholarship Administration System), Early Education Reporting and District Profiles.

Web and Application Developer

Manage the planning, creation, implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the district web server, public and private web presence, custom web and non-web applications, virtualization environment, system interoperability solutions, and Schools Interoperability Framework (SIF compliance. Provide training and assistance for all users including support staff.)

Education and Experience:

Four (4) Year Degree in Computer Science
Two (2) Years of related experience in online programming an virtualization technology
Or any satisfactory combination of education and experience/training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above duties
Valid Minnesota driver’s license
