Paraprofessional – Classroom
Classroom tutoring, support and supervision for students in grades 7-12. Categories may be Title One, Special Education, Classroom or Media Center or any combination thereof. Responsibilities may also include operating a school vehicle to transport special education students to various off-campus job sites. Daily hours: may begin no earlier than 7:45am and may end no later than 3:45pm for approximately 32.5 hours per week when school is in session (subject to change).
Business Education Teacher 7-12 – Long-Term Substitute
Anticipated duration is Monday, April 25th to Friday, June 3rd which is six calendar weeks or 28 contract days (subject to change). LPA utilizes a seven-period day. The position would consist of teaching five periods plus one study hall period and one period for prep. The title of the classes are listed in alphabetical order: Accounting, Business Computer 7, Intro to Computer Applications 9, Intro to Gaming and Personal Finance. Preference will be given to candidates with Microsoft Office Suite and Schoology knowledge or experience.

Agriculture Education Teaching Position
Morris Area Schools is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Agriculture Teaching Position beginning with the 2016-2017 school year. This position requires a valid Minnesota Teaching license. The position will be teaching a variety of agriculture courses along with involvement in a strong FFA program. Course assignments may include Horticulture, Ag Business, Animal Science, Food Science, Welding, Ag Leadership, Ag Processing, Natural Resources and Intro to Ag Coursework. Responsibilities will include developing lesson plans, conducting classroom instruction, evaluating and assessing both instructional material and student performance. Other responsibilities include developing strong SAE programs and cultivating community relationships with students. An extended contract will be provided for weekend and summer hours.
