The School District of New Richmond, located in western Wisconsin in St. Croix County is seeking a Superintendent to begin July 1, 2022.  New Richmond is approximately 70 miles west of Eau Claire, WI and 40 miles east of Minneapolis/St Paul, MN.  The “City Beautiful” of New Richmond has a population of 10,075, and is a welcoming, vibrant, and growing community.  It is made up of inspiring natural areas, agriculture, award-winning medical facilities, eclectic businesses and top-rated schools.  New Richmond is also home to Northwood Technical College (formerly WITC).

Orientation & Mobility Specialist

Cooperative Educational Service Agency 11 (CESA 11) is looking for an individual to serve as a part-time (with the potential of full-time) Orientation/Mobility Specialist. Current position would serve 1 Western Wisconsin District. The Orientation/ Mobility Specialist shall work closely with the Teacher of the Visually Impaired, and other IEP team members (especially family members) to develop and implement an instructional plan for children with blindness and visual impairments that leads to the highest level of independence for which the student has potential. Instruction typically occurs across various learning environments for the purposes of generalization of skills. Families and educational staff are invited to observe in order to support skill development under all circumstances.
