This position is full-time and based out of the Mahtomedi High School.  This position will work directly with a student with medical needs.  Salary and benefits are part of the Paraprofessionals Master Agreement.

●        Providing nursing care to students with special health needs and specialized health care procedures

●        Support students with disabilities through formal and informal assessments

●        Work one on one, in small groups, or in a classroom setting

●        Assist staff to meet specific needs of students

●        Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff

●        Other job-related duties as assigned

Sixth Grade Teacher – Long Term Substitute

Position Summary:
Provide classroom instruction to students in 6th grade with an emphasis in Language Arts and Math.

Requirements:
Valid MN Elementary Teaching license. Bi-lingual skills in Spanish or Somali desired. Demonstrated use of 21st Century strategies and approaches to ensure all learners achieve the highest levels. Balanced Literacy preferred.  Consistent and reliable attendance is required.

Speech Language Pathologist(s)

Position Summary:
The speech language pathologist performs professional work assessing and delivering instructional and clinical services to individual and small groups of students with speech and language impairments, and related work as apparent or assigned.

Qualifications:
Master’s degree in speech language pathology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Minnesota licensure in speech language pathology; Certificate of Clinical Competency preferred.

Summer School Teacher

Position Summary:
Provide high quality instruction focusing on literacy skills and math computation/comprehension to K-5 elementary students. The number of positions and placements will be based upon student enrollment. Successful candidates are required to attend an informational meeting and need to commit to four weeks of instruction. The only absences that will be approved during this time are for illness or emergencies. Multiple positions available.

Qualifications:
Valid MN Elementary Teaching license required. Bi-lingual skills in Spanish and strong reading background desired.
