Summary Researches, plans, organizes, and implements early childhood programs within the Rochester Catholic Schools. Includes directing activities, budgets, programming options and other details of early childhood programs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Authorizes purchase of instructional materials and teaching aids such as books, toys, and games designed to stimulate learning. Interviews and recommends hiring of teaching and service staff. Confers with teachers and administration regarding facility activities, policies, and enrollment procedures. Reviews and evaluates facility activities to ensure conformance to state and local regulations. Reviews and approves menu plans and food purchases as necessary. Supervisory Responsibilities This job will supervise teachers and paraprofessionals in the Early Childhood program. Assistant Principal – East Ridge High School
Assist the building principal in performing instructional leadership and management of the educational program to maximize student learning. Assist with managing, evaluating and supervising effective and clear procedures for the operation and functioning of the school consistent with the philosophy, mission, values, goals and strategic plan of the school district. This includes instructional programs, co-curricular activities, and student management systems to ensure a safe and orderly climate, building maintenance, program evaluation, personnel management, office operations and emergency procedures. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS: 1.Assist the principal in the overall operation of the school and serve as a building instructional leader. 2.Support a school culture focused on learning and continuous improvement. 3.Establish and promote high standards and expectations for all students and staff for academic performance and personal responsibility. 4.Assist with developing and administering annual master schedule for instructional programs, ensuring sequential learning experiences for all students. 5.Continually monitor student progress and outcomes. Substitute ECSE B-3 Teacher
The ECSE Birth-3 Substitute Teacher provides services to children in HVED member school districts. Service location will be in the home or alternative site with child and family near or around Houston, Rushford-Peterson, and La Crescent-Hokah, Minnesota. Travel is required. The Substitute Teacher position is from April 2017 to September 2017. Position will be 3-days per week.
