High School Counselor (2 positions)
Assistant Principal – Career & Technical Education
Under the direction of the principal, district policies and in compliance with state and federal laws provide program leadership and perform duties involved in the supervision and implementation of district policies, curriculum, instructional programs and staff performance. This position will work with member districts and families to promote secondary and post-secondary success for students. Duties and Responsibilities: *Provide overall direction of the program personnel and students for daily operations in partnership with theprincipal. *Provide instructional leadership, including supervision, professional development,evaluation, Professional Learning Community (PLC) leadership and support to staff. *May complete behavior/attendance related paperwork, contact and notify necessary authorities or work with the home school to address incidents resulting in intervention, suspension and/or expulsion. *Support the principal in logistical responsibilities such asscheduling, program review, accreditations, leading committees, overseeing transportation coordination, leading tours and acting as a key program communicator with member district staff and students. *Assistprincipal with budget preparation and staffing. *Primary liaison between own school, other schools, students and families for reasons such as registration/credit, concurrent enrollment, registration, graduation, student retention, behavioral or other needs (some events off-site at home schools). *Responsible for internal communication tools for staff (i.e. staff bulletin)and external communications regarding the program (i.e. social media posts). *Leads and supports district and site prioritiessuch as equity, student engagement and technology. *Perform other duties as assigned.
SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER – EBD
The special education teacher develops materials and lesson plans, conducts classroom instruction and evaluates and assesses both instructional materials and student performance. The teacher meets with parents, interprets student progress and informs parents/guardians about student strengths, weaknesses and/or progress. Additionally, the special education teacher facilitates Individualized Education Plan (IEP) and Evaluation Summary Report (ESR) meetings and completes special education paperwork as determined by state and local due process requirements.
Math Instructor
1st Grade Teacher – .50 FTE
1st Grade Teacher – Blue Heron Elementary – .50 FTE – Beginning the 2017-18 school year.
BUSINESS INSTRUCTOR
