Lewiston-AlturaISD 857 is looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to serve as High School Principal starting August 1, 2016. The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate that they have a history of putting students first, have excellent public relations skills, be up to date on the use and implementation of technology in the classroom, have a strong knowledge and understanding of best practices in curriculum and instruction, be able to supervise and evaluate classroom teachers and be able to help guide professional learning communities and action research within the classrooms. The candidate will also be able to show evidence of being licensed as a high school principal in Minnesota, or be able to show that they are on track to be licensed before the start of the 2016-2017 school year.
