Hours: Exempt; 8 hours/day, 5 days/week;full-year, 12 month position 225 duty days. Typical preferred core hours 8:30-5:00 pm for any late start school and 8:00-4:30 pm for any early start schools. There will be hours worked outside these typical preferred hours.

 

 

Location: Position will be available at Basswood Elementary, Cedar Island Elementary, Edinbrook Elementary, Elm Creek Elementary, Fernbrook Elementary, Oak View Elementary, Rice Lake Elementary, Rush Creek Elementary, Weaver Lake Elementary, and Woodland Elementary.

General Purpose of Job: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning by providing leadership, direct supervision and support in the program areas including program planning, prioritizing, organizing, and carrying out a diversified workload.

 

 

Description: The Site Supervisor plays a crucial role in providing leadership and support within the Community Education department. Responsible for overseeing program operations at a location, staff management, and addressing the needs of students, parents/guardians, and staff. The Site Supervisor ensures the delivery of high-quality educational services. This position involves strategic planning, performance leadership, program content development, professionalism, and other related duties.

Required Qualifications:

 

 

Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in education or related field.

Align with Minn. Stat. 245H.08, subd. 2. with at least one-year previous experience in childcare recreation, education, or youth development.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

 

Considerable knowledge of instructional methods, racial equity, and multicultural curriculum concepts.

Preferred knowledge of computer applications such as GSuite (google drive, sheets) Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Teams, Excel, Outlook), Eleyo.

Familiarity with various instructional methods, best practices, and strategies.

Prior customer service and technology experience preferred.

Supervisor experience preferred

Salary Range: Per Contract, current salary range is $58,250-$73,750; this is currently not listed in the contract as it is a new position, and will be added into the next contract.

Position Description:

The Finance Supervisor is responsible for managing assigned financial operations and performing professional level work under the supervision of the Director of Finance.  Responsibilities may include: supervising and training assigned staff;  leading and overseeing the district’s external annual audit; assisting with the compilation and coordination of the district’s budget;  developing, implementing, and maintaining internal control processes and procedures to ensure the integrity for accounting, accounts receivable, cash flow projections, and other assigned areas; assisting with managing the districts SOLI plan and OPEB Trust Fund; identifying, analyzing, and troubleshooting problems/discrepancies  to meet the district’s objectives and ensure compliance with state statutes and federal regulations.  Assists with other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Director of Finance.

Responsibilities: Manages the activities of accounting, financial support, or related functions, which includes planning, coordinating, administering, and evaluating programs, projects, processes, procedures, systems, and standards; and ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local laws, regulations, codes, and/or standards.
Supervises staff to include conducting performance evaluations, coordinating training, and implementing hiring, and discipline/termination procedures.
Manages and coordinates the production of applicable financial reports, statements, reconciliations,  in assigned areas of responsibility.
Performs advanced accounting activities, which includes: producing data for consultants, project financing, and fee studies; assisting departments with financial calculations and projections; preparing department budgets; and, performing other related activities.
Oversees and coordinates annual and periodic external and internal audits; manages analytical studies; develops and reviews reports of findings, alternatives, and recommendations; manages the maintenance of related records and files.

Training/Experience Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

Assist in the implementation and follow through of the students’ individual plans in all settings in which the program is delivered and as assigned by the supervising teacher.
Collect observational data about assigned student(s) in various school settings and report to supervising teacher.
Assist in the preparation, collection and maintenance of educational materials and equipment.
Attend conferences and any other special meetings as requested by supervising teacher.
Complete educational forms, reports and other student related data relevant to the individual student(s) in the special education program as directed by the special education teacher.
Any other duties deemed necessary by the team and approved by the Special Education Coordinator Special Education Supervisor.
