The Verndale Public Schools’ main office is located in Verndale, Minnesota. The school district has an approximate enrollment of 560 pre-kindergarten through grade twelve students.

LEADERSHIP PROFILE: The Verndale School Board seeks a superintendent who:
- Is visible and accessible to the School Board, staff, students, parents, and community
- Is a “people person” with proven abilities in human relations and communications
- Acts with honesty and in an ethical manner with all stakeholder groups across the district
- Effectively mediates and accommodates different perspectives; values teamwork
- Works cooperatively with the School Board; provides options and recommendations
Previous superintendent experience preferred, but not required.
SALARY/CONTRACT: A regionally-competitive compensation package will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. The contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statute.
