Pines School 1.0 FTE Lead Teacher
1.0 FTE – Lead Teacher – Pines School – 184 days per year + 10 extended days – Beginning the 2018-19 school year.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Registrations
● Intake and assess all new students, Interview new applicants, Assist families in the application process, Tour facility with family, Determine graduation credit and state testing needs, Administer placement assessments
● 916 Coordinator
Register and monitor progress on all CALC students who attend 916
Attend 916 Advisory meeting once a month
Student Services
● Behavior intervention assistance working with Director
● Mediations, Individual, Family, Staff
● Work with cooperating districts to enroll and communicate about students
● Liaison with Anoka County Social Services in assisting student, parents and families find medical care, emergency food shelves, housing and mental health counseling
● Liaison with outside services
Staff Services
● 504 Coordinator
Work with student, families and staff in developing and implementing 504 plans
● Conduct and run morning meetings with Pines staff
● Liaison with High School and Middle School administration, counselors, TOSA・s staff, Student Assistance team, Individual student staffing/meetings
● Meeting as needed, w/Director and students on Academic probation to design goals for academic success
● Collaboration with teachers on proactive, prevention based guidance curriculum lessons
● Assist staff with classroom interventions
● IEP evaluation team member/Child Study Team Member
Community Services
● Truancy liaison with Anoka County
Attend remediation sessions with students, parents and Anoka County staff
Misc Duties
● Assist in the organization of graduation ceremonies in June
● Assist in the organization and set up the monthly community meetings/ Student Recognition events
● Work in Infinite Campus (behavior tabs/attendance etc…)
● MDE reporting
● Help set up individual transportation
ASD Consultant
The primary purpose of this school based ASD Consultant position is to provide assessment, collaboration and therapeutic supports for students ages birth to twenty-one in school and home based settings. ASD consultant will assist students, families and school staff in helping children meet their individual program goals. The job requires exceptional communication skills, flexibility to work across a variety of home and school settings and the ability to initiate and manage a complex schedule. Graduate Teaching Fellowship, Health Education

Minnesota State University, Mankato
Openings are available for the Graduate Teaching Fellow Program (classroom experience while working on a masters degree program in Education). Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts Teaching degree in Health Education.
Seniors in a teacher education program who will complete all requirements for a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science Teaching degree, complete all required testing, and obtain appropriate Minnesota teacher licensure by August, 2018, or recent teacher education graduates (who have not held regular teaching appointments) are eligible to apply. Application deadline: until filled.
