The Aitkin Public Schools is seeking candidates for the position of Superintendent of Schools. The successful candidate will begin work on or around July 1, 2017 and will receive a competitive salary and benefit package commensurate with experience and qualifications. School District Information: *The Aitkin Public School District has an enrollment of approximately 1150 k-12 students. In addition, children, families, and other district residents are served through early childhood and community education programs. *Educational and support programs are delivered in a prek-6 Elementary School and a 7-12 Secondary School. *The superintendent is supported by two principals, HS assistant principal, a Director of Buildings and Grounds, a Business Manager, a Community Education Director/elem. Dean of Student, a Transportation Director, and a Technology Director. *The district employs 214 licensed and non-licensed staff members. *The enrollment pattern for the district has been steady for the last several years but there is an expected a slight decline in the future. *The district offers a comprehensive 1:1 Technology Initiative in grades 7-12. *The school district’s operating budget is approximately $12 million. Director of Finance and Human Resources

North Branch Area Public Schools is seeking a Director of Finance and Human Resources who will serve as the chief financial and human resources officer for the school district managing its budgetary and financial operations; overseeing personnel functions of the school district; and providing direct supervision to non-instructional departments including technology, food service, buildings and grounds, and transportation.
