Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Schools is seeking an Assistant Principal who has the vision and expertise necessary to provide educational leadership at Phoenix Learning Center (PLC) and Buffalo High School (BHS). PLC is a “student choice” alternative high school program serving at-risk students 16 – 21 year olds in the Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose School District. 31 students are currently enrolled at PLC. http://www.bhmschools.org/schools/phoenix Buffalo High School opened its doors to students for the first time in the winter of 1997. Students range in grades 9-12. BHS is a “block schedule” school with a wide variety of choices available to students. 1750 students are currently enrolled at BHS. http://www.bhmschools.org/schools/buffalo-high Independent School District #877 is a 45 minute drive northwest of the Twin Cities. Approximately 5,650 students district wide attend 6 elementary schools, 1 middle school, 1 high school and an alternative high school program.

Job Summary: The Assistant Principal participates in leading and managing school operations and efforts towards continuous improvement of teaching and achievement. Responsibilities include: providing leadership in the implementation of school improvement initiatives, instructional leadership and support to staff; creating a positive school culture and climate; student behavior management; and meeting the educational needs of special needs students. Candidates whose background includes experience in special education, social work/counseling, or assessment strongly encouraged to apply. MN License for administration required.

School Psychologist

This position is responsible for, but not limited to, assessing student needs and will consult to implement programs to meet the educational needs of students in accordance with due process, existing programs, rules and policies, along with consulting with staff in planning intervention strategies.

Vocal Music Teacher-Choir Director

FOLEY PUBLIC SCHOOLS VOCAL MUSIC TEACHER/CHOIR DIRECTOR Foley Public Schools is accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE Vocal Music Teacher available beginning with the 2016-17 school year. Grade levels taught may vary depending on staff assignment, but will include 7th-12th grade choirs. he successful candidate will enjoy excellent facilities and a supportive environment. Foley High School and Intermediate Schools are connected, therefore no travel is needed between campuses. Preference will be given to candidates with experience. Candidates must possess or be able to demonstrate ability to obtain appropriate licensure prior to the beginning of the 2016-17 school year. Coaching and/or Advisor positions are also available but are not a requirement for this position. Salary and benefits will be in accordance with the Master Agreement between Foley Public Schools and Foley United Educators.
