Transportation Supervisor
Purpose Statement Planning, directing, coordinating, and overseeing all functions pertaining to the operation of the District’s transportation program; meeting scheduling demands; assisting individuals in the performance of their functions; and resolving and/or recommending solutions to incidents, complaints and/or accidents. Primary Job Functions: 1.Meet with prospective students to complete intake process. 2.Market Adult Education Programming in the Community. 3.Create/build collaborations with area business/government/school district to improve job skills of low skill, low wage job seekers. 4.Organize and convene meetings with local employers to build support for career pathway projects designed to meet the immediate and future needs of local and regional businesses. 5.Develop short-term internship programs and longer term apprenticeship programs for current Adult Education students in collaboration with Adult Education teachers and local businesses. 6.Organize and manage special events as needed (annual College Fair, etc.) 7.Other Duties as Assigned.
