Provide specialized instruction in a district wide academic communication focus program. Direct the work of paraprofessionals. Provide instruction based on grade level standards in both pull out and push in environments.Use evidence based instructional strategies. Implement compliant due process procedures and processes including maintenance of records, reporting, and confidentiality. Collaborate with general education staff and parents to increase student achievement. Participate and conduct training.
Building and Grounds Coordinator
Delano Public Schools is currently accepting online applications for the position of Building and Grounds Coordinator. Delano Public Schools serve the educational needs of over 2500 students in grades Pre-K-12. In addition, the facilities serve the needs of community members in a variety of capacities. The district passed a 65 million dollar bond referendum to build a new school and upgrade/redesign all existing facilities in the district. Delano Public Schools is located approximately 30 miles west of Minneapolis via Hwy 12. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following job summary. The candidate will administer all building/grounds programs and implement day-to-day operations of the Building and Grounds Department for the district including: working directly with building administrators to direct and evaluate building custodians; direct and evaluate other maintenance, grounds and other buildings and grounds staff; inspect and maintain buildings and equipment; ensure district compliance with federal, state and local safety rules and regulations, and district health and safety program; develop & maintain facility plans & budgets.
