The Valley View Principal works under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools to perform complex professional work. Duties include, but are not limited to, developing and maintaining effective educational programs consistent with philosophies, policies and goals of the School Board and state and federal guidelines. The principal provides continuous leadership and management of the Valley View staff, students and programs. The principal ensures student safety, engages in public relations and community outreach and related work as apparent or assigned.
Executive
The Executive Director, working with the Board of Directors, management team, and staff, provides leadership and direction in matters of policy, personnel, budgeting, growth and change for the agency. The Executive Director is appointed by the PCAE Board of Directors, who are appointed by the governor. The Executive Director, reporting to the Board of Directors, maintains a close working relationship with the Board in carrying out its policies and directions. The Executive Director must work closely with all external and internal stakeholders, the governor, the legislature, the relevant state offices, and artists and educators statewide.

Non-Affiliated Position Adult Basic Education Manager – Area Learning Center/Community Ed Building 32 hours per week/200 days per year This position qualifies for benefits Start date: 5/1/2017 Position summary: The Adult Basic Education (ABE) Manager is an administrative leadership position which is responsible for the overall operations, personnel, finance, marketing, collaboration, development, reporting and management of the ABE programs for the Lakeville Consortium and the Dakota Prairie Consortium as established in the Agreement for Adult Basic Education Professional Services. The Lakeville Area Public School District and the Districts that make up the Dakota Prairie ABE Consortium are dynamic organizations which are constantly growing and evolving to meet the educational needs of their communities. The individual filling this position must be able to adapt, develop and work in a fast-paced professional environment, performing general and specific tasks in concert with other team members. Through this role and related responsibilities, this position is an integral part in the successful delivery of Community Education activities, programs and services.
