Posting dates: 2/6/17 thru 2/10/17 or until filled Hours: Monday thru Friday 8.0 per day Job Summary: Provide advanced technical support for Mounds View District staff and students for a variety of technologies in a helpdesk setting, phone or email support, remote access as well as onsite support. Respond to level two and three inquiries and requests, define problems, identify and isolate issues, and implement technical solutions to solve problems. Configure and maintain various systems staff and student accounts. Troubleshoot the usage of the telecommunications systems, perform MACS, terminate patch panels, troubleshoot voice and data cabling and other general PBX/system level support that fall within defined guidelines and escalate more complex problems to next tier technical support team. Essential job functions include the following: Answer help desk calls; diagnose software and hardware issues via telephone, on-site or remote assistance in a timely and efficient manner. Provide level two and level three desktop support which may include update and install software as needed, replace computer hardware, such as memory, drives, video cards etc. troubleshoot network connectivity issues in a wired and wireless environment. Setup, install and provide advanced support with various technologies throughout the district, this includes: Smartboards, Interactive projectors, Document cameras, scanners, printers, iOS devices, projectors, computers laptops, Chromebooks and other mobile devices. Provide level two and three support for District applications which includes email support, staff and student account support. Provide support for telecommunications systems,VoIP and related telecom. Document daily communication transactions, problems, action taken, and installation activities.
