POSITION SUMMARY: Assist the building principal in performing instructional leadership and management of the educational program to maximize student learning. Assist with managing, evaluating and supervising effective and clear procedures for the operation and functioning of the school consistent with the philosophy, mission, values, goals and strategic plan of the school district. This includes instructional programs, co-curricular activities, and student management systems to ensure a safe and orderly climate, building maintenance, program evaluation, personnel management, office operations and emergency procedures. PRIMARY JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Assist the principal in the overall operation of the school and serve as a building instructional leader. 2. Support a school culture focused on learning and continuous improvement. 3. Establish and promote high standards and expectations for all students and staff for academic performance and personal responsibility. 4. Assist with developing and administering annual master schedule for instructional programs, ensuring sequential learning experiences for all students. 5. Continually monitor student progress and outcomes. Work with staff to improve student learning and achievement. 6. Establish and maintain effective communication and public relations with staff, students, parents and community members through all programs and activities. 7. Assist in preparing and managing budget for the building, maintain accurate budgetary records as required by district policies and procedures. 8. Support creating a high performing staff through effective hiring and evaluation systems. Develop, coach, train, mentor and manage staff as directed. 9. Ensure compliance with all laws, school board policies and school district procedures. 10. Assist with supervising the instructional programs of the school on a regular basis to ensure the use of effective instructional strategies, content and materials consistent with research on learning, student growth and development. 11. Ensure a safe, orderly environment that encourages staff and students to take responsibility for behavior and creates high morale among staff and students. 12. Establish a professional rapport with students and staff. Display the highest ethical and professional behavior and standards when working with students, parents and school personnel. Serve as a role model. 13. Participate in professional development workshops, activities and seminars. 14. Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary: Supervise students in the cafeteria during lunch and on the playground with an emphasis on providing a safe environment. Head Boys Track and Field Coach
Description: Head Boys Track and Field Coach located at the Junior and Senior High Schools. Position works 12-15 hours per week. Approximate dates of the assignment are March through June. Job Summary: Practices, preparation, coordination and organization of all aspects of Boys Track and Field this person must also work very closely with the Girls Head Coach and all assistant coaches which support both the boys and girls programs Head Coach is responsible for all aspects of the Boys Track and Field program which may include but not be limited to: recruiting participants, managing a very large roster, helping to coordinate transportation, work with the Activities Office on pre-season meetings, eligibility, and equipment. Previous head coaching experience preferred but all applicants will be reviewed. Attends practice and competitions with the High School boys and girls track and field teams.
