LTS Physical Therapist

LTS DCD Teacher

Technology Assistant

Description: Technology Assistant at High School. 7 hrs/day, 193 days/year. Grade 6 $17.20/hr Job Summary: Provide support in the area of technology for staff and students so that the overall district educational objectives may be achieved. *Completes tasks and projects on site following protocols as assigned by the Supervisor of Support and Technology Support Manager. *Supports building-level technology through the district Help Desk service and responds to staff requests. *Maintains systems including the installation of equipment and hardware/software upgrades following established protocols. *Supports existing technology including computer workstations, mobile devices, video/audio equipment and other peripheral devices. *Communicates and collaborates with the Technology Support Team to problem solve hardware, software, and network issues. *Remains current in software and hardware trends. *Answer the Help Desk phone number and provides assistance when able or devotes resources to remedy the staff’s technology issues. *Provide training for students and staff on software applications used by students. *Assists with training on software applications utilized by staff in real time and through virtual or web-based training. *Assists in the development and upkeep of instructional manuals on hardware and software use. *Assists as needed in installing, building, upgrading, and maintaining assistive technology hardware and software for students and staff. e.g. Text to Speech *Preview individualized technology equipment, devices, computers, computer software, and other materials. *Aids in the implementation of new technology and information systems.

Early Childhood Development Screener Substitute
