Upper School Mathematics Teacher
Minnehaha Academy is a Christian school and a ministry of the Northwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church. Our mission is to provide a high quality education integrating the Christian faith and learning. The Upper School has a full-time Mathematics teaching opening beginning the 2016-2017 school year. Coursework includes algebra, geometry, and pre-calc, with the potential to teach more advanced courses in future years. Position includes working in small learning teams through dedicated collaboration time, and advising a small group of students in our advisory program.
Math Teacher, Middle School (2274)
– Provide quality instruction in Algebra and Geometry for students in grade 8; – Create lesson plans that address both skill deficiencies and Minnesota state standards; – Teach engaging lessons; – Provide classroom management that allows for quality instruction; and – Report student progress in a timely manner.
