Position Purpose:  Provide for the academic,social/emotional and educational planning support of secondary school students at the middle school level.

Pioneer Ridge Middle School is a 6-8 learning environment with about 700 learners.  We have a growing population of diverse learners which we support through exceptional, personalized learning.  We believe in providing a safe, welcoming environment for all learners to acquire the tools and skills necessary to confidently engage in a global community.  We are passionate and committed to closing the achievement gap and raising the bar for all students.
Preferred Candidates will have prior successful experience working with students in a diverse, multicultural education setting and/or experience working towards equity in education.

Salary:  Salary Range: $52,851 – $104,522 for a 185 day contract @ a 1.0 FTE  (Salary will be prorated based on contract days in assignment and fte, education and experience) Salary and benefits pursuant to the Chaska Education Association (CEA) Collective Bargaining Agreement.
Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA). Currently under negotiations

Principal – Prairie View Elementary (PreK-5)

The Eden Prairie School District is seeking applicants for Principal of our Prairie View Elementary School. Prairie View Elementary has a staff of 102 that serves approximately 575 students. The ideal leader must have experience regarding curriculum development and evaluation, be a skilled communicator, possess above average interpersonal skills to work with a diverse population among our students, parents and community. Eden Prairie is a school district with approximately 1,400 employees serving 9,000 students. The district is recognized for its quality initiatives and its leadership in educational programming.

Position requirements:

  • Minnesota Elementary Principal License, or ability to obtain
  • 3-5 years of successful experience in public school administration and/or supervision
  • 5 years minimum experience as a classroom teacher

Qualifications:

  • Experienced leader to coach and manage staff to meet the needs of all students, while creating and maintaining a culturally inclusive environment.
  • Previous experience in the areas of curriculum development and evaluation, personnel development, and evaluation focused on performance improvement.
  • Advanced coursework in areas pertaining to skills and content of the principalship.
  • Knowledge and experience regarding current issues in large school management.
  • Skilled communicator and systems thinker who possesses effective interpersonal skills to effectively work with staff, parents, and community.
  • Knowledge of analyzing data to make decisions for school improvement.

Position reports to: Assistant Superintendent of Elementary Education
Starting Salary: $181,200 – $186,950 (based on education and experience)

  • Interview #1: Structured screening interview of 51 questions after initial screening for qualifications

  • Interview #3: May 28th: Up to 3 candidates will participate in rotating interviews
    • Interviews to include Prairie View students, faculty leaders, and community members

Support Application Specialist III (TSS III)

General Purpose of Job:
To inspire and prepare all students with the confidence, courage and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning by managing the District-Wide system, including user training, hardware and software problem solving, on-site and hotline support, and coordinating District MARSS system and reporting.

Support District-Wide system, including user training, hardware and software problem solving, on-site and hotline support, and coordinate MARSS systems and reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Providing technical support to District users of the District-Wide Systems.
Investigating, researching, documenting, reporting and solving problems encountered that effect Osseo’s use of the District-Wide Systems within our organization.
Monitoring student data.
Providing technical support to District Administrators related to student records.
Perform other duties of a like or similar nature as assigned.
Developing and revising user friendly documentation for proper use of the District-Wide Systems.
Providing training and instruction to system users.
Retraining staff on new releases of software and updating users on new state requirements.
Planning, organizing, executing and managing District-Wide system procedures and timelines to ensure proper operation of the system to meet District and State requirements.
Coordinating and directing the District’s operation of, and compliance with, the MARSS system to ensure proper accounting of student data to be used for District and State reporting.
Serving as District MARSS contact person as required.
Monitoring and directing activities of personnel associated with MARSS system.
Monitoring the system integrity and security.
Insuring and maintaining the confidentiality of district data files.
Designing and generating customized reports as necessary to meet the needs of the District and building administrators and staff.
Analyzing users’ requests and determining if local customized applications can be utilized. If so, designing customized applications. If not, recommending program enhancements to district vendor.
Performing other duties of a like or similar nature as assigned
Required Qualifications:  Minimum of associate degree or a two-year college or technical school OR eight years of related experience. Experience should include: work direction, training, report writing, word processing, spreadsheets, and working with application end users and software.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s Degree Preferred Coursework in Management Information Systems or a closely related field. .
Desired three years District experience using system applications
If working in Special Education Systems, experience is preferred in tuition billing.
Experience working with student information systems
Experience in Elementary and Secondary scheduling
Proficiency in a language other than English (Spanish, Somali, Hmong, Vietnamese)
Knowledge and skills required to perform the essential functions of the job:Demonstrable ability to manage large data processing applications including design, implementations, training and coordination.
Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with others; possess strong verbal and written skills.
Ability to analyze and solve difficult problems and design temporary work-arounds.
Ability to analyze and attend to details with a high degree of accuracy.
Ability to work efficiently under the pressure of project deadlines.
Job Type:  Full-time, Full-year
Hourly Rate Range: Class V per contract: $26.67 to $34.41 per hour
