The Executive Director of Teaching & Learning is responsible for development, implementation, and improvement of district-wide (EC-12) teaching and learning and operational functions.  This includes curriculum, staff development, instructional practices, early childhood, technology, budget management, supervision. The Executive Director of Teaching & Learning serves as a member of the district leadership team and the superintendent’s executive cabinet.  The Executive Director of Teaching & Learning provides leadership, oversight, direction, and supervision to all Teaching & Learning department directors.

Instructional Coach – Math Specialist (TOSA)

Job Summary:
The Instructional Coach Math Specialist (TOSA) leads and facilitates the planning, implementation, and support of mathematics for learning and instruction and collaborates with staff and students to plan, model, and integrate technology into the educational process.

Responsibilities: Facilitates mathematics curriculum and instruction review.
Collaborate with teachers to plan, implement and refine effective mathematics instruction aligned with district competencies and MN standards.
Model instructional strategies in the classroom and provide feedback to support teacher growth.
Assist teachers to use student assessment data to identify instructional needs, set goals, and monitor progress.
Design and lead professional development sessions focus on mathematics pedagogy.
Support the implementation of district-wide math initiatives and provide coaching aligned with district goals.
Stay informed of current research and trends in math instruction and share relevant findings with staff.
