The School Board of the Anoka-Hennepin School District seeks an exemplary superintendent with a strong educational vision and in-depth understanding of education and finance to lead Minnesota’s largest school district.

The Anoka-Hennepin School District is one of Minnesota’s largest, serving approximately 38,000 students, 7,500 staff, and 248,000 residents. Spread out across 172 square miles, Anoka-Hennepin is an increasingly diverse district serving 13 suburban communities north of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Anoka-Hennepin has 26 elementary schools, six middle schools (grades six through eight), and five traditional high schools, plus alternative middle and high school sites, in addition to an award-winning Community Education program.

Anoka-Hennepin has a solid reputation for outstanding educational programs with emphasis on the use of student-centered learning environments and databased decision-making.

There is a collective focus on raising achievement in order to prepare our students to be globally competitive.

Anoka-Hennepin provides families with educational options, including a number of specialty (magnet) schools and the highly regarded Secondary Technical Education Program (STEP).

The Superintendent provides leadership and strategic vision for the organization in the areas of academics, finance, and operations.

7 hr/day Special Education Paraprofessional

Special Education Paraprofessional
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, supervision of students indoors and/or out of doors, tutoring students under the direct supervision of a teacher, facilitating behavioral redirection and intervention, and assisting with individual instruction.

1.0 FTE – Blue Heron Elementary School- Starting August 29, 2022
183 Workdays 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must hold a valid elementary education teaching license in the State of Minnesota or ability to be licensed.
Teachers must be able to demonstrate the highest commitment to student achievement and effective development.
Teachers must have the willingness to adapt to becoming part of a total school effort in educating our students.
Teachers must have a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with other staff members, students and parents in providing and promoting positive relationships.
Teachers must be of the highest integrity with a strong commitment to modeling excellence in all aspects of the teacher/student/parent relationships.

WAGES:
Candidates will be placed on the teacher contract and will receive benefits according to the CEA
contract.

Finance Accounts Payable Administrative Assistant
