Position: Multi-Tiered Systems of Support and Personalized Learning Coordinator
Reports to: Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment
Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and supporting a district Multi-Tier System of Support. The Coordinator will train, support, and monitor site-based teams including collecting, analyzing, and reporting the progress of MTSS implementation across the District. This position will be responsible for maintaining the District’s Learning Management System/s and providing training to support its use through collaboration with site-based digital learning coaches.
Essential functions of Assessment include but are not limited to the following:
Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (60-75%)
• Work collaboratively with district administrators, school-based leaders, and teachers to develop a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) at the district and school levels.
• Actively participate in the review and development of social-emotional learning for students.
• Support, develop and oversee the implementation of the district’s Alternative Delivery of Specialized Instructional Services (ADSIS) application.
• Facilitate site-wide screening of FASTBridge early reading and CBMReading assessments at the elementary schools, 3 x a year.
• Monitor the fidelity of implementation of MTSS at school sites, including the identification of students, delivery of Tier 2 and 3 interventions, and progress monitoring.
• Facilitate and/or support site-based data meetings.
• Coach school sites on analyzing student needs and identifying research-based interventions across academics, behavior, and social-emotional learning (SEL).
• Help establish data collection and analysis procedures for surveys (student, staff, and family) through a data system (like Panorama) to inform decision-making and/or continuous improvement planning.
• Coordinate and facilitate MTSS professional development and training for school-based and district staff. (i.e. Fast for Success)
• Compile and report on the effectiveness of interventions on a monthly basis to improve district and school systems.
• Collaborate with intervention staff to develop communication about intervention including informing families of service as well as quarterly progress reports.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with families, staff, and community members.
Personalized Learning (25-40%)
• Maintain the District’s Learning Management System/s and provide training to support its use through collaboration with site-based digital learning coaches
• Maintain and support standards of practice related to the use of the LMS at each level.
• Create and maintain resources for parents/guardians, students, and staff on learning management systems.
• Provide annual reports on the usage of the district’s LMS/s.
• Coordinate and support collaboration among digital learning coaches to develop learning opportunities to be shared with staff for implementation district-wide.
• Coordinate training for staff in targeted technology integration.
• Maintain an active awareness of emerging information, trends, and applications for technology and learning explicitly as it relates to LMS
• Collaborate with the Seesaw and Canvas user groups.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with families, staff, and community members.
