Coach – Soccer – Head (Boys)

Irondale High School is seeking a dynamic, highly qualified candidate to serve as the Boys Varsity Soccer Coach. Candidates are desired to have successful high school and/or collegiate level head coaching experience, and related successful experiences in educational leadership. Candidates should be experienced in building a comprehensive program, developing staff, and managing diverse program-wide elements in accordance with the Irondale High School mission and vision. All candidates should have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and the commitment to develop and maintain positive relationships between the Boys Soccer program and the local community. Proven experience in teaching and modeling character and responsible behavior.

Partners well with parents, staff, community leaders, etc.

REPORTS TO:
Irondale High School Athletics/Activities Director, who provides overall job objectives and observes performance in conjunction with the High School Principal.

JOB GOALS:
To instruct student-athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize individual and team success. Concurrently, student-athletes shall receive instruction that will lead to the formulation of moral values, pride in accomplishment, acceptable social behavior, self-discipline and confidence. Coach shall demonstrate substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport as well as successfully establish positive relationships with all stakeholders.

Academic Support Specialist

Job Description:

Forest Lake Area Schools is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team of Academic Support Specialists who work in our elementary schools. This is a TOSA position that will report to the school principal and be responsible for direct student service through a push-in model, planning instruction and/or adaptation of the instructional program to facilitate student learning in literacy and math in collaboration with the classroom teacher. This position is set to start as soon as possible and will continue through the end of the 2021-2022 school year.

Responsibilities

Provide direct instruction to students in reading and math, implementing research-based instructional strategies and best practices in interventions and individualized support to meet the needs of all learners
Work collaboratively with teachers in leveraging data to inform instruction and determine needed scaffolding and supports for individual students, small group, and large group instruction
Use formative and summative assessment data to inform instruction and positively impact student learning
Leverage Fastbridge data and assessment tools to identify student needs in reading and math
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual learners
Develop and implement classroom-based, developmentally appropriate interventions for individuals and small groups
Work with students flexibly in both large-group and small-group settings
Monitor and document student progress in a variety of ways on a regular basis
Plan and facilitate Family Math and Literacy Nights

Preschool Teacher (Part-Time)

Job Summary

Job Functions

Plan, implement, evaluate and coordinate curriculum and behavioral support with other staff.
Observe/monitor/assess/record each child’s development/behavior for reporting and progress monitoring.
Develop and maintain rapport with each child and provide positive behavior guidance to all children, plus provide for the health and safety of each child.
Provide a developmentally appropriate classroom – organized, safe and inclusive of learning centers.
Maintain and order supplies, equipment and materials as appropriate.
Plan and coordinate special events/celebrations of learning.
Develop and maintain communication with parents through daily greeting, parent info, conferences, progress reports, open houses, volunteering and events.
Provide support, direction, supervision and assistance to the assistant(s).
Respond appropriately to emergency or crisis situations.
Maintain appropriate records with the support of the assistant(s).
Maintain communication with all staff and participate as a team member.
Perform other general duties as assigned by your supervisor to accomplish the objectives of the Early Learning Program.
Participate in staff development training programs as assigned.
Attend staff, community education and district meetings as directed or necessary.
Demonstrate prompt, regular and reliable attendance.
