Start Date:  As soon as possible

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the superintendent with district and board operations
  • Performs a wide variety of complex and confidential tasks to support planning, implementing, directing, and maintaining district and board operations
  • Conducts research and collects and analyzes data to provide recommendations for action
  • Takes an active role in continuous improvement
  • Coordinates projects, activities, and events for the superintendent and board
  • Contributes to and manages numerous complex manual and electronic documents
  • Prepares a wide variety of complex written materials
  • Communicates information on behalf of the superintendent, district, and governing board to varied audiences and agencies
  • Responds to a range of communications and addresses concerns and complaints, resolves problems, and makes referrals when necessary
  • Assists with developing and implementing health and safety plans, specifically related to COVID-19
  • Assists the superintendent in the areas of financial management and human resources
  • Other duties as assigned by superintendent

Licensed Staff – Assistant Principal

Classification:  Administration – Assistant Principal

Individuals with a K-12 Principal License, enrolled in an administrative program, or that have K-12 administrative experience, especially at the high school level, are encouraged to apply.

Start Date:  January 3, 2022, or earlier, if possible

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assists the principal with overall administration of instructional programs and school operations
  • Encourages, supports, and assists in building and maintaining a culture that evidences high expectations for respect, compassion, intellectual engagement, and professionalism
  • Takes an active role in school excellence, student achievement, and continuous improvement
  • Approachable, accessible, and maintains high visibility, especially during student contact days
  • Communicates sensitively and fairly; effectively addresses concerns and complaints, resolves problems, and makes referrals when necessary
  • Serves as the school’s 504 Plan Facilitator
  • Addresses student attendance and behavior issues according to policies and procedures; approaches and applies student discipline with the intention of improving student attendance and behavior and resolving issues
  • Assists with teacher observations and evaluations
  • Conducts research and collects and analyzes data to provide recommendations for action
  • Conducts trainings and professional development, as needed
  • Assists with, attends, and supervises school-sponsored events
  • Other duties as assigned

IT Tech I

Job Summary:

Provide technical support for Mounds View District staff and students for a variety of technologies in a helpdesk setting, phone or email support, remote access as well as onsite support. Respond to level one inquiries and requests, define problems, identify and isolate issues, and implement technical solutions to solve problems.

Essential job functions include the following:

Answer help desk calls; diagnose software and hardware issues via telephone, on-site or remote assistance in a timely and efficient manner.  Provide level one desktop support which may include, update and install software as needed, replace computer hardware, such as memory, drives, video cards, etc. troubleshoot network connectivity issues in a wired and wireless environment.

Setup, install and provide level one support with various technologies throughout the district, this includes interactive white boards, interactive projectors, touch-screen displays, document cameras, scanners, printers, projectors, computers, laptops, Chromebooks, iOS devices, and other technologies.

Provide level 1 support for district applications– this includes email (Google), Google Apps, student systems (Edupoint Synergy), Staff and student login issues, testing, Student Plans, and other specialty software.

Document daily communication transactions, problems, actions taken, and installation activities.

Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention, notify manager or supervisor of complex problems or trends, provide solutions and recommendations.

Other duties as assigned.
