Academic Learning Specialist

Forest Lake Area Middle School is seeking a qualified candidate to join our team as an Academic Learning Specialist.  This position will report to the school principal and be responsible for direct student service through a push-in and pull-out intervention model, planning instruction and/or adaptation of the instructional program to facilitate student learning in literacy through collaboration with our MTSS team and English department.

 

Assistant Principal at Scenic Heights Elementary

  1. Assist the principal in providing leadership in the development of and the fulfillment of the school’s vision, mission, and goals.
  2. Serve as a member of the District’s administrative team, actively participate in the development, implementation, and achievement of District goals including overseeing assessment at the building level, and serve as the principal’s liaison at school and professional public meetings in the principal’s absence.
  3. Responsible for working with students including disciplinary issues, making necessary referrals, and communicating directly with parents, as appropriate.
  4. Actively participate in the recruitment, selection, staff development, and evaluation of teaching and paraprofessional staff members.
  5. Actively participate in the SST process, help support teachers and students with intervention strategies.
  6. Communicate with parents, community members, and parent organizations concerning school programs and activities.
  7. Share responsibility for building security, property and persons.
  8. Develop and complete mutual commitments tied directly to District goals.
  9. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level

Middle School Choir Teacher

Minnehaha Academy Middle School has an opening for a 55% part-time choir teacher for the 2025-2026 school-year, from August 2025 through June 2026. This teacher will:

*Direct a curricular choir of 6th grade students
*Direct a curricular choir of 7th and 8th grade students
*Direct an extracurricular choir of 6th-8th grade students
*Direct 4 concerts every year
*Potential to work with middle school musicals
*Teach a guided study class

The salary range for this position would be $21,120 – $42,800, depending on education level and experience.
