Talent Acquisition Generalist
Days: 229 days; Full-time, year-round
Hours: 8 hours/day; 5 days/week

Position Description:
Spring Lake Park Schools is a suburban Minneapolis school district of approximately 5,800 students comprising the communities of Blaine, Fridley, and Spring Lake Park. The District is seeking a high-quality, innovative individual for the position of Talent Acquisition Generalist. This redesigned position provides the unique opportunity to join a dynamic school district that is highly committed to working each day to align the work of adults throughout our system. This role will be critical in hiring the best possible talent through sourcing strategies as well as developing new and creative recruiting ideas. Position Requirements:
The successful candidate will possess the following education and experience . . .
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or education related field
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent technology
- Base knowledge of laws, general policies or procedures potentially impacting employees and the workplace
- Passion to work within a diverse and changing community
- Experience in human resources and/or education
Qualifications:

- Strong desire to extend our brand by creating excellent relationships with colleges, universities, and other outside agencies
- Demonstrated ability in developing and administering an equitable recruiting, marketing/advertising, and hiring process
- Knowledge of implementing and operating an integrated system of human resource services and programs
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of diverse applicants, district personnel, educational institutions, community organizations, and the public
- Strong leadership skills defined by the ability to self-reflect and actively listen
- Demonstrated ability to create and maintain positive employee relations
- Proficient at problem solving and team decision making
- Knowledge of laws and statutes pertaining to human resources administration
- Experience with project managemen
- Knowledge of performance management tools
- Knowledge and experience in data analysis and reporting
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
Position Reports to: Director of Human Resources & Organizational Development
Compensation Package: Salary and benefits highly competitive with region
