Annual Salary Range: $104,337- $117,379

Job Summary:
The Building Principal will lead the overall management of staff, faculty, and students at the designated school location. Some essential responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Collaborate with the Director of Teaching and Learning to provide program and curricular development, and implement instructional improvements in grades Prek-12.
Under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools, maintain student discipline of the school building on a daily basis.
Establish and maintain favorable relationships with the community, staff, faculty, parents and students.
Supervise and evaluate all Prek-12 instructional faculty which includes but is not limited to educators of Early Childhood, English, Math, Sciences, Music, History, Art, Title I, and Special Education.
Along with department heads, share in the supervision of non-instructional faculty and support staff at the designated school location. This includes but is not limited to the staff in Transportation, Food Service, Facilities & Grounds, Community Education, American Indigenous Education, Paraprofessionals and Student Aides.
Along with the Human Resources Department, participate in the recruitment, selection and orientation of new faculty and staff for the designated school location.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education and Experience:
Administrative license in public education.
Master’s Degree in public education or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of classroom teaching experience.
Demonstrated experience in leadership, planning and program development.
Preferred Education and Experience:
3 or more years of previous classroom teaching and/or leadership experience in a public education environment.
3 or more years of previous experience in employee management is preferred.
Pre-Employment RequirementsMust be legal to work in the United States.
Must complete a pre-employment background.
Must have an active Minnesota Administrative License in K-12 public education.
