GENERAL SUMMARY OR PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Director of Human Resources is responsible for the coordination, execution and delivery of Human
Resources services for the District. The Director provides leadership, guidance and oversight of staffing,
recruitment & retention, equity and diversity efforts, benefits, performance management, labor relations,
development and administration of District policies and procedures, communications, compensation,
benefits, and implementing HR strategies to influence District culture in support of optimizing human
potential and performance. This position requires continuous use of independent judgment and the ability to
build strong relationships, collaborate with others and communicate effectively. The essential functions as
shown below represent only the key areas of responsibility; specific position requirements will vary depending
on the needs of the district.

Barnum Elementary School is seeking a 1.0 FTE ECSE teacher to begin August 30, 2021.
Early Childhood Parent Educator / Coordinator
Barnum Community Education is currently seeking an ECFE Parent Educator for the 2021-2022 school year to plan, prepare, and facilitate parent groups in accordance with the overall Early Learning program policies, goals, and philosophy. This is a part-time, flexible position with varied hours, including days, some evenings and occasional Saturdays.

Coordinator Education Equity
The Coordinator of Education Equity provides leadership ensuring that equity and inclusion are
essential principles of our school system and are integrated into all policies, programs,
operations, and practices. The Coordinator is also responsible for the development,
implementation, and evaluation of the district’s Achievement and Integration plan, as guided by
our ongoing developmental process of improving our cultural competence, cultural climate,
and cultural structures.

The Greenway Public Schools’ main office is in Coleraine, Minnesota. The school district has an approximate enrollment of 1,050 pre-kindergarten through grade twelve students.

LEADERSHIP PROFILE: The Greenway Public Schools School Board seeks a superintendent who:
- Has experience in school finance and budgeting
- Keeps up on changes in legislation and helps the school district engage with the legislative process
- Acts with honesty and in an ethical manner, is visible and accessible, develops trust and works collaboratively with the school board, staff, students, parents and the community
- Superintendent experience preferred but not required
SALARY/CONTRACT: The current superintendent’s base salary for the 2020-2021 school year is $134,480. The final salary will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. The contract length is negotiable as provided in Minnesota statute.
