General Definition of Work
Performs complex executive and administrative work assisting with the direction of programs, operations, activities and facilities of the White Bear Lake Public School District, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work involves setting policies and goals under the direction of the Superintendent. Organizational supervision is exercised over all personnel under the supervision of building principals and cultural liaisons.

The Carlton School Board seeks an experienced superintendent who: has prior experience with school district bond referenda processes; has experience with school finance, facility planning, and managing transition; works cooperatively with the School Board and provides recommendations and options for School Board consideration; is an honest and ethical leader who develops trust and works collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders and understands the effects of poverty on student learning and achievement.
