Executive Director
The Director, who serves as the lead administrator of the school is hired by and reports directly to the School Board. The position requires general and specific responsibilities as stated by the Minnesota Board of Education, Charter Schools, Voyageurs Expeditionary School Board, the Voyageurs Expeditionary School’s Policy and Procedures and the authorizer, Osprey Wilds. The Director additionally ensures that the school provides a safe, supportive environment which emphasizes the skills necessary to prepare students for success.
Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in education or related field, demonstrated leadership skills, strong public speaking skills, ability to write clearly and strong facilitation skills. Experience in management. Demonstrated knowledge of finance and budgeting. Experience and/or familiarity in grant writing.
