The Warroad School District main office is in Warroad, Minnesota. The school district has an approximate enrollment of 1,110 students.

The Warroad School Board is searching for a new superintendent. The ideal candidate is an experienced administrator – someone who works well with others and is a visionary, creative thinker, and problem-solver. The School Board is committed to finding a candidate who: acts with honesty and in an ethical manner in dealings with the School Board, staff, and community; has a thorough knowledge of and successful experience in school finance; delegates authority while maintaining accountability; develops and directs an effective leadership team; works cooperatively with the School Board and provides options and recommendations for the School Board’s consideration; follows the educational philosophy established by the School Board which reflects the values of the community; and has experience and thorough knowledge of negotiations and the collective bargaining process.

Previous superintendent experience is preferred, but not required.
