MAJOR PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: The role of the Principal is to supervise the
overall operation of the school, giving direction and supervision to the educational program,
implementing the policies of the school board, and carrying out the directives of the Assistant
Superintendent of Secondary Education. The responsibilities of the Principal include:
Leadership
• Identify, pursue, and coordinate the use of all resources to achieve the school’s
mission and goals.
• Create an environment that contributes to the desired performance of students and
teachers in accordance with the school’s philosophy and mission statement.
• Provide professional growth opportunities for all staff members at the building level.
• Implement a school improvement process.
• Serve on committees as assigned by Central Administration.
• Participate in local, state, and national professional organizations.
• Keep current with trends, issues, and practices in education at the local, state, and
national level.
Curriculum and Instruction
• Assist in selection, development and implementation of curriculum.
• Assist teachers, parents, and students in developing appropriate educational plans for
students.
• Provide and coordinate diverse co-curricular program for all students.
• Work with Special Education Department in the referral, staffing, and placement of
special needs students.
Management
• Oversee the administration of all programs and develop the master schedule.
• Implement the policies of the School Board and directives from Central Administration.
• Maintain student discipline consistent with school rules and policies as annually
outlined and updated in the student handbook.
• Maintain an accurate pupil record and reporting system.
• Administer the building budget and account for all expenditures.
• Maintain an accurate inventory.
• Complete local, state, and federal reports.
• Supervise all areas of the plant and grounds.
• Participate in planning and supervising construction and renovations to the school
plant.
• Prepare for emergency situations and communicate and practice emergency drills as
appropriate.
Personnel
• Recruit, select, and orientate and train all personnel in the building.

ISPD Educational Consultant
CESA #11, located in Turtle Lake, Wisconsin, has a vacancy for an educational consultant position in the area of Assessment, Curriculum and Instruction. The consultant will provide regional support and district consultation within the Instructional Support and Development (ISPD) services at CESA #11.
Leadership experience and evidence of collaboration skills are essential as this position works with other CESA #11 programs and the Department of Public Instruction on topics of shared concern (e.g.Curriculum Development, State and Local Assessments, Educator Effectiveness, and Student/School Learning Objectives). A background in K-12 curriculum, strategic planning, grant management, data analysis, and group facilitation is preferred as a portion of this position will be working with various aspects of school improvement services.
Candidates must have a minimum of five years of recent teaching experience, hold a masters degree in education and hold, or have the ability to gain, the Wisconsin DPI issued Curriculum Coordinators license.
This is a professional staff position that has a minimum 190 day annual contract with a base salary of $70,000 with consideration of contract days and experience. Travel is required for this position within the CESA #11 region and statewide.

Associate Director of Special Education
The Green Bay Area Public School District is currently accepting applications for an Associate Director of Special Education vacancy. Working collaboratively with other leaders, under the direction of the Executive Director of Student Services, the Associate Director of Special Education provides oversight of special education programming, staffing, procedural compliance, and results driven accountability. The Special Education leadership team focuses on increasing academic achievement for all students with disabilities within the Green Bay Area Public School District to ensure college, career and community readiness for all. Essential functions of this Associate Director of Special Education position include, but are not limited to: – supporting building administrators in their supervision and evaluation of staff to ensure effective instructional practice that leads to high levels of student achievement; – providing long-range planning and timelines for implementing special education services district wide, aimed at closing the achievement gap; – providing for special education curriculum and program planning, development, implementation and objective evaluation; – determining staffing requirements and continuously monitoring staffing needs for special education programs; – recruiting, screening and interviewing for special education vacancies; – planning, organizing and conducting monthly and/or quarterly department and leadership meetings; – resolving and managing conflict on student educational programs, including responding to parent concerns; – attending IEP team meetings, as needed; – facilitating manifestation determination meetings; – assisting in oversight of DPI Indicators; and, – following up of any Correction Actions. Chief Financial Officer
The Green Bay Area Public School District, the fourth largest school district in the state of Wisconsin, is accepting applications for a Chief Financial Officer to begin on or before July 1, 2019. A mutually agreeable start date will be established. Screening of applications will begin on February 4, 2019.
The Chief Financial Officer directs fiscal, general administrative, and physical support services. Applicants who are qualified and interested in this position are encouraged to submit their application materials including a cover letter and resume.
Essential Functions:
1. Serves on the Superintendent’s Leadership Team as the representative from the Business Services Division and works cooperatively with other members in integrating and coordinating individual efforts into a unified program for the District.
2. Attends Board of Education meetings, serves as administrative liaison to the Board’s Operational Support Committee for agenda preparation, and prepares such reports for the Board as the Superintendent may request.
3. Keeps informed of, interprets, and assures compliance with all laws, regulations, statutes, rules, and policies affecting the Business Services Division.
4. Inaugurates studies and research in various aspects of the work of the Business Services Division.
5. Interprets and communicates the programs, philosophy, and policies of the Business Services Division to staff, students, and the community-at-large.
6. Prepares and maintains appropriate policies, state reports, and claims as required of the Business Services Division.
7. Develops Business Services goals, objectives, and priorities based on District initiatives.
8. Coordinates, synchronizes, and evaluates the work of those administrators reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
9. Leads and directs the preparation, development, and subsequent administration of the District’s budget.
10. Maintains both internal and external communications regarding the business operation.
11. Assures that the Business Services Division’s activities are in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws pertaining to health and safety standards.
12. Directs the District’s long-range planning process for capital improvements and long-term borrowing.
13. Establishes and supervises the accounting system necessary to provide school officials and administrators with accurate financial information.
14. Provides monthly financial reports on budget status as well as interim information as requested.
15. Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as the Superintendent may assign from time to time.
16. Develops and administers policies of the Board of Education related to the business operation of the district.
17. Develops long-range budget projections.
18. Keeps current on topics, mandates, and other State and Federal regulations pertaining to the business function of the District.
19. Interprets the financial impact on the District of pending legislation.
20. Provides the Superintendent, Board of Education, and staff members with financial and budgetary information to help them in their relations with the public.
21. Oversees the leadership and administration of the national school lunch program.
22. Oversees the leadership and administration of planning, construction, maintenance and care of facilities and other physical resources of the District.
23. Performs other duties as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools and Learning.
Director of Pupil Services/District Equity Coordinator
Green Bay Area Public School District is hiring for the position of Director of Pupil Services/District Equity Coordinator. The ideal candidate will direct and coordinate the activities in the areas of pupil services (School Counseling, School Social Work, alcohol and other drug abuse prevention, bullying and suicide prevention, alternative education, behavior management, etc) and equity; serve as a district contact for student-related behaviors and discipline issues; remove barriers to student learning by developing and implementing strategies which will increase student attendance, ensure smooth transitions for all students from elementary to middle school, middle to high school, and high school to post-secondary; ensure that buildings create learning plans and environments that connect students and families to schools; plan, organize, coordinate and implement equity initiatives in the school district and serve as the liaison between the District, local universities, community agencies, and the community at large. The ideal candidate must have successful experience in working with diverse populations.
