Occupational Therapist (3 days/week)

River Bend Education District has an opening for a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) to begin August 2018. This is a three day a week position. This position provides diagnostic assessment, program planning, and consultation and direct services to children within member school districts who are eligible for special education and experience adaptive, sensory, and motor or developmental delays.

Student Activities Director Grades 7 – 12

QUALIFICATIONS:

·      Licensed teacher in the State of MN required

·      Administrative Licensure or Registered, Certified, or Certified Master Athletic Administrator preferred

·      Experience as an Activities Director preferred

·      Knowledge of District and Minnesota State High School League procedures, policies, and regulations

·      Experience with implementing ‘Why We Play’ and/or “Positive Coaching Alliance”

·      Ability to implement District procedures and policies governing hiring, supervision, and evaluation of coaches and advisors

·      Knowledge of principles and practices of budgeting

·      Skilled in planning, organizing, and implementation activity program and large public events

·      Skilled in decision making, problem solving, and conflict resolution

·      Skilled in conducting public relation activities, events, and public presentations

·      Available for supervisor responsibilities in the evenings and weekends

·      Effective interpersonal interactions and communication skills as applied to interaction with both with youth and adults
