Owatonna Public Schools ensures opportunities for all students are realized in the classroom and in life. The Early Childhood Family Education Educator collaborates closely with all members of the program team and families to provide nurturing care and education to young children in a group and/or inclusive setting; in accordance with the goals and curriculum plans of the District.

Provide a variety of strategies in working with students, and maintain flexibility in day-to-day dealing with staff, parents, and stakeholders. Uses technology, including computers, tablets, smartboards, educational software, and online resources, to provide engaging and differentiated learning opportunities. Teaching children with varying skills and abilities using a variety of age-appropriate teaching methods. Excellent service orientation and interpersonal communications skills with internal and external customers. Use technology software to fulfill job requirements and engage students. Must understand and comply with all protocols related to data privacy. Ability to perform duties with an awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies. Consistent and reliable attendance.
