3rd Grade Teacher – Long Term Substitute
Position Summary:
Provide high quality instruction to students and serve as a collaborative member of a 3rd grade team. Candidate will collaborate with classroom teacher prior to assignment.
Qualifications:
Valid MN Elementary Teaching license. Demonstrated use of 21st Century strategies and approaches to ensure all learners achieve the highest levels. Candidate will have a solid background in equity, believing and ensuring all students learn at high levels. Experience in balanced literacy and utilizing an integrated approach to instruction across all content areas and a background in STEAM and Everyday Math beneficial. Consistent and reliable attendance is required. Bi-lingual skills in Spanish or Somali desired.

Head Girls Soccer Coach
Position Summary:
Act as the Head Coach of the Owatonna High School Girls Soccer Program.
Classroom Educational Assistant – Part Time
The Educational Assistant assists the classroom teacher with performing duties necessary to meet the educational needs of an individual or group of students. The Educational Assistant’s primary focus is on directly serving students or in preparation for meeting the students’ needs.
Other Skills & Abilities:
Provide a variety of suggestions in working with students in the classroom setting. Maintain flexibility in day to day dealing with staff and students. Maintain the confidentiality of all information regarding students. Perform duties within a tight daily schedule and with an awareness of all district requirements and Board of Education policies. Ability to deal effectively with students and teachers; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with teachers, parents, student and administrators. Consistent and reliable attendance.
