Winona Area Public Schools is seeking candidates to fill a full-time Elementary Principal position starting with the 2016-17 school year at Washington-Kosciusko Elementary and Rollingstone Elementary. Under the direction of the Superintendent of Schools, the Elementary Principal provides leadership for the instructional program, as well as coordinating the implementation, review, and revision of the curriculum at the building level. Manages the operation and all functions of the school. Supervises school staff regarding instruction, curriculum, student programs and concerns, and building operations ensuring adherence to school and District policies, regulations and goals. Schedules and attends meetings, as appropriate. May be responsible for District wide programming in specific areas as directed. Implement an effective training and competition regiment that maximizes student-athlete performance in the sport. Provide direction and evaluation for assistant coaches throughout the program to ensure continuity through all levels. Communicate effectively with all program stakeholders to ensure a positive, quality experience is provided for our student-athletes. Manage and track all equipment inventory and program budget each year Perform all other duties as outlined by the MSHSL, Faribault Coaches Handbook, and Section Tournament Administrators.
