Position Summary:
Develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the academic, functional, and behavioral needs of students in an elementary special education setting; evaluates and assesses student academic, functional and behavioral progress; functions as IEP manager to assigned students; directs the work of paraprofessionals; collaborates with other service providers and educators.
Qualifications Required:
All special education licenses in the state of Minnesota considered

Caledonia School District No. 299 has an opening for a full-time high school math teacher for the 2023-24 school year. Candidate must hold a middle school or high school Minnesota mathematics license or be willing to work on an Out of Field Placement (OFP). CAPS Care Teacher, Assistant and Aide

Caledonia Area Public Schools is looking for a full-time toddler teacher, assistant teachers, and aides for our child care center, CAPS Care. All positions must be able to pass a criminal background check and obtain CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of employment. Discount on child care for CAPS Care staff members. Benefits if working more than 30 hours per week. Benefits include health, life, long-term disability, personal, sick and vacation days.
Teacher requirements:
Must meet the requirements below OR be willing to work toward a degree or CDA.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
An Associate’s degree in childhood development required or Bachelor’s degree in a related field, AND
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a child care setting, preferred.
Hourly pay range: $16.07 – $20.41 depending on experience.
Assistant Teacher requirements:
Must meet the requirements below OR be willing to work toward required credits.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
High school diploma required, 2,080 hours as an aide or student intern, and 12 quarter hours of Child Development classes.
Minimum 2 years experience working in a childcare setting, preferred.
Hourly pay range: $15.33 – $19.17 depending on experience.
Aide requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age
Hourly pay range: $14.66 – $18.31 depending on experience.

Qualifications:
Valid Minnesota teaching license in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education with Pre-Primary Specialty preferred or equivalent education and experiences
Possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
Previous experience with young children preferred
Knowledge and experience using creative curriculum, teaching straties gold assessment, and pyramid model
