WMS needs a Computer/Business Teacher. Candidates must demonstrate a knowledge of Computer Science Technology instruction. Will develop appropriate Computer Science Technology Curriculum for students in grades 6-8. Teaches knowledge and understanding of Computer Technology careers. Teaches in a computer lab and students also have iPads available. Achievement and Integration Coordinator
Nobles County Integration Collaborative is looking to hire an Achievement and Integration Coordinator who will be responsible for program coordination and direct service duties. The coordinator implements programs designed to promote cultural integration and student academic success within six member school districts. Some travel to member districts is required. This individual also supervises staff, manages the budget, and completes state reports. This is a full-time, 12-month coordinator position. Class I Paraprofessional
ISD 518 is seeking Class I (General Education) paraprofessionals at Prairie Elementary with a start date of August 22, 2022. Applicants should have training and experience working with a diverse student population. Job requirements will include working closely with licensed staff in the general education classroom, providing small group academic and behavioral support to students, as well as student supervisory duties in various educational settings. IT Media Technician
The Worthington School District 518 and City of Worthington are seeking an IT Media Technician for broadcasting a variety of city and school events using multiple media channels. This position will be expected to participate in producing and editing specific monthly events along with a wide variety of community and school activities throughout the year. POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Special Education Coordinator represents a broad grouping of various positions responsible for providing leadership, coordination and facilitating special education services and programs with assigning member district(s) and or MAWSECO program(s). Representative duties include: monitoring and ensuring compliance with special education due process procedures/laws/requirements and paperwork of staff or member district administrator(s), coordinates staff development, facilitates special education transportation, participates in IEP meetings, makes recommendations on budgetary needs/requirements and staffing allocations/needs, serves as a resources and liaison between member district(s) or program(s) and MAWSECO, assists in the design and implementation of curriculum, instructional methodology, programming and facility needs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires a minimum of a Master’s Degree in Special Education or closely related field and at least 4 years in the areas of special education; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires State of MN Director of Special Education Licensure.
- Requires a valid MN driver’s license without restrictions.
- Other essential knowledge required to perform the essential functions of the job:
- Laws, rules, statutes and guidelines related to special education programming and requirements.
- Instructional and intervention strategies, concepts, principles, methods, best practices and trends dealing with issues of child development, special education and instructional methods and resources.
- Knowledge of conflict resolution strategies and behavioral interventions.
- Knowledge of health and safety rules, regulations and requirements.
- Knowledge of resources, service alternatives and options available to children with special needs.
- Fundamentals of management and supervisory principles, standards and practices.
