Under the direction of the Director of Instruction, the Learning Center School Principal is responsible for providing educational leadership within the Learning Center School by implementing the educational and district initiatives at the building level and for directing, supervising, and overseeing all school operations, personnel, and activities within the Learning Center. The Learning Center Principal collaborates and works closely with other administrators, staff, students, and the public in addressing and meeting the educational needs and goals of the district, its students, its families, and in performing various public relations responsibilities within the community.
The Learning Center Principal, is responsible for directing the development, implementation, and coordination of all alternative education programs including Learning Center Day and night classes, Targeted Services (EDGE) (K-8), Summer School (K-12), and Virtual Instruction by Excellence (VIBE) (K-12) online school).
Head Principal minimum starting salary is $98,700 plus benefits based on background and experience.
