The Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Public Schools’ main office is in Dilworth, Minnesota. The school district has an approximate enrollment of 1,583 pre-kindergarten through grade twelve students.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton Public Schools School Board seeks a superintendent who:

  • Acts with honesty and in an ethical manner with the School Board, staff, and community
  • Delegates authority while maintaining accountability
  • Has knowledge of and experience with negotiations and the collective bargaining process
  • Develops trust and works collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders
  • Is familiar with state and federal education laws
  • Is visible and accessible to the School Board, staff, students, parents, and community

Previous superintendent experience preferred, but not required.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:

A competitive compensation package, with a minimum salary of $130,000, will be negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications. The contract length is negotiable as provided in the Minnesota statute.

Director of Operations and Emergency Management

The Director of Operations and Emergency Management plans, manages and directs the school district’s operational functions within the established policies, regulations, goals and philosophies of the district to support safe facilities and transportation for all students. This position maintains a safe and secure environment for students, employees and visitors by helping to develop, establish and enforce safety and security policies, access control procedures, accident prevention efforts, support risk management efforts, fire safety, and emergency management.

Supervisor, Middle School Learning & Accountability

This position will provide consultation and technical assistance to school personnel regarding related education policies and procedures, including active leadership in professional development and the supervision and evaluation of staff. Significant time is required for analyzing data, planning and designing effective staff development, monitoring programs/services, responding to others, and consulting with building and other District personnel. The Supervisor  will understand evidence based instructional and other strategies that close the achievement gap for learners.

Job Description:
Perform a variety of specialized activities involved in the installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of systems software including locally and cloud hosted servers the software and applications reside on. Queries, manipulates and presents database information for end users through the creation of web based reports or shared electronic file. Connects application systems with focus on interoperability and data exchange. Administers assigned server hardware, virtual servers, operating systems, and application software. Provides training, assistance, data analysis and reporting for all district users. Provide technical software support and assistance to end users via remote help desk model.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology field with 2+ years systems administration and planning experience or any satisfactory combination of education and experience/training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above duties
Valid MN Driver’s License

 

Assistant Superintendent for Learning and Accountability

Moorhead Area Public Schools is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Superintendent of Learning and Accountability. Applicants must demonstrate leadership skills and a strong commitment to student achievement, building partnerships in the community, supporting staff learning and development and financial management.

 

The Assistant Superintendent of Learning and Accountability provides strategic leadership, management, and planning in district matters for all core education programs. This position provides alignment of support programs in Learner Support Services and Alternative Education Services with the core education programs, as well as administers and oversees federal and state programs and district staff development to ensure a free appropriate public education for all students. Develops, directs,evaluates and administers policy, procedures, programs, budgets, staffing, and staff development as related to the above programs/services and advises the Superintendent, Central Office Team and Cabinet on matters regarding school

improvement and accountability.

 

Applicants must hold or be eligible for licensure as a Superintendent in Minnesota. A minimum

of five (5) years of experience at a district office level is preferred.

 

Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
