Job Description:
Perform a variety of specialized activities involved in the installation, configuration, operation and maintenance of systems software including locally and cloud hosted servers the software and applications reside on. Queries, manipulates and presents database information for end users through the creation of web based reports or shared electronic file. Connects application systems with focus on interoperability and data exchange. Administers assigned server hardware, virtual servers, operating systems, and application software. Provides training, assistance, data analysis and reporting for all district users. Provide technical software support and assistance to end users via remote help desk model.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology field with 2+ years systems administration and planning experience or any satisfactory combination of education and experience/training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the above duties
Valid MN Driver’s License

 

Assistant Superintendent for Learning and Accountability

Moorhead Area Public Schools is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Superintendent of Learning and Accountability. Applicants must demonstrate leadership skills and a strong commitment to student achievement, building partnerships in the community, supporting staff learning and development and financial management.

 

The Assistant Superintendent of Learning and Accountability provides strategic leadership, management, and planning in district matters for all core education programs. This position provides alignment of support programs in Learner Support Services and Alternative Education Services with the core education programs, as well as administers and oversees federal and state programs and district staff development to ensure a free appropriate public education for all students. Develops, directs,evaluates and administers policy, procedures, programs, budgets, staffing, and staff development as related to the above programs/services and advises the Superintendent, Central Office Team and Cabinet on matters regarding school

improvement and accountability.

 

Applicants must hold or be eligible for licensure as a Superintendent in Minnesota. A minimum

of five (5) years of experience at a district office level is preferred.

 

Salary is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

The position is responsible for guiding efforts to conceptualize, define, assess, foster, and cultivate equity and inclusion as an institutional and educational resource.

The Supervisor of Distance Learning provides leadership and advocacy for programs and services to support students and faculty in the area of distance learning and instructional technology support, including, but not limited to, the development and implementation of the school division’s distance learning and online learning programs and offerings. This position will provide consultation and technical assistance to school personnel regarding related education policies and procedures, including active leadership in professional development. Significant time is required for analyzing data, planning and designing effective staff development, monitoring programs/services, responding to others, and consulting with building and other District personnel.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Teacher

Morris Area Schools is accepting applications for a part time EMT teaching Position beginning with the 2020-2021 school year. This position requires a valid Minnesota Teaching license.  The position also requires the candidate to have the following:

(1) possess valid certification, registration, or licensure as an EMT, AEMT, paramedic, physician, physician assistant, or registered nurse;

(2) have two years of active emergency medical practical experience;

(3) be recommended by a medical director of a licensed hospital, ambulance service, or education program approved by the board;

(4) successfully complete the United States Department of Transportation Emergency Medical Services Instructor Education Program or its equivalent as approved by the board; and

(5) complete eight hours of continuing education in educational topics every two years, with documentation filed with the education program coordinator.
