Position Summary:
Substitute Teachers replace full-time classroom teachers for a determined period of time. Teacher will establish collaborative & impactful relationships with colleagues, families, and students. Teacher will understand and model best instructional practices, serve as a member of a Professional Learning Community, and ensure high levels of student learning. Candidate must have a learner, inclusionary, and equity-focused mindset and see that their presence has an impact with students and our school environment. Position is a balance of co-teaching and pull-out services, all based on student needs and IEP goals.
Qualifications:
Hold an existing MN Teaching License, Special Education preferred
Student-centered and focused on ALL.
Commitment and belief around ensuring all students learn at high levels.
Demonstrated use of research-based instructional and engagement strategies to meet the continuum of individual learning needs while using data and assessments to guide instructional decisions.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students to achieve student learning results.

Rate of Pay:
Based on candidate’s experience and education per the OEA Master Agreement *pending contract negotiations.
