WORK SCHEDULE: This position will be on-call Monday through Friday as needed.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

-Provide appropriate and effective classroom instruction in an individualized manner to offenders including preparing, maintaining, and assessing Personal Education Plans (PEP) for each student in the absence of the teacher.

-Tutor individual students and small groups in Literacy, ABE, or GED programs.

-Perform departmental administrative support.

This position is located at a Minnesota Correctional Facility and will have direct offender contact.

Building Nurse

POSITION: School Nurse for Jordan Middle School. Position will work 7 hours/day Monday – Friday.

SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Licensed School Nurse (LSN) and district policies, is responsible for implementation of individual student health plans, caring for ill and injured students, medication administration and maintaining student health records. Position Purpose:  Provide services to children with exceptional educational needs, and to educate staff when children require occupational therapy to benefit from special education.  To improve, develop, restore, or maintain a child’s active participation in self-maintenance, work, leisure, and play in educational environments.

Licensure Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a school accredited by the American Occupational Therapy Association
Current certification from the National board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
Current Occupational Therapy license from the Minnesota Department of Health
Compensation and Yearly Duration of Employment:  Compensation will be determined by District 112 and the Chaska Education Association (CEA).
