Secondary Building/Central Square
Job Summary
The Head Engineer is responsible for the overall management of maintenance tasks and cleaning of the Secondary Building and Central Square to provide a clean, pleasant and safe environment for employees, students, and the general public. Provides general supervision to employees who report directly to the position.
Edina Public Schools has a full-time Special Education (ASD/DCD) teaching position available at Creek Valley Elementary School beginning August 2018.
Stillwater Area Public Schools is currently seeking a 1.0 FTE SPED Teacher (Level III ASD) for the 2018-19 school year at Lily Lake Elementary.
Edina Public Schools has an Augmentative Communication Specialist position available District-Wide for Extended School Year (ESY) beginning July 9, 2018 through August 2, 2018. This person will consult with Special Education teachers and ensure that they know how to communicate with students who use alternative methods of communications.
Position: Young Scholars (.45 FTE Oakdale Elem.); and, High Potential (.25 FTE Oakdale Elem./.30 FTE Skyview Elem.)
Location: Oakdale Elementary/Skyview Elementary
Start date: 8/27/2018

Required Qualifications:
1. Current Minnesota teaching license K-5;
2. Knowledge of the nature and needs of gifted learners including differentiation strategies, assessment, and affective issues;
3. Demonstrated ability to seek out, identify, and advocate for underrepresented populations including culturally diverse learners for advanced academic programs;
4. Ability to work collaboratively;
5. Intercultural competency.
Desired Qualifications:
1. Minimum three years teaching experience;
2. Experience working with gifted and talented learners;
3. Ability and willingness to provide coaching, training and support on differentiation;
4. Gifted and talented education, certificate, or coursework
5. Experience working with learners of different socioeconomic, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds;
6. Excellent communication skills;
7. Self-motivation and flexibility.
