Elementary School Principal Location: Hanover Elementary School Hours of Work: 5 days/week, 8.0 hours/day, 260 days/year Salary: $119,915 to $129,915/negotiable plus benefits Beginning: July 1, 2017 Deadline to Apply: Application deadline is May 8, 2017, or until filled Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose Schools is seeking an Elementary School Principal who has the vision and expertise necessary to provide educational leadership at Hanover Elementary School K-5. Approximately 430 students, 28 licensed staff, and 15 classified staff attend and work at Hanover Elementary School. ISD 877 is a 45-minute drive northwest of the Twin Cities. Approximately 5,707 students district wide attend 6 elementary schools, 1 middle school, 1 high school, 1 alternative high school and 1 transitions program.

Elementary Principal

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 1.Manage the human resources functions of the District, including human resources division staff; personnel policies; negotiated contracts; reporting as required by law or other board policy; personnel files and other employee information; recruitment and exit procedures; collective bargaining; supervision of benefits and clinic administration; employee grievances; and staff performance appraisal procedures. 2.Serve as the District’s Equal Opportunity Officer, Section 504 Law Handicapped Equity Coordinator and Sexual Harassment Officer, and monitor District compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations. 3.Maintain effective lines of communication with administrative personnel and with other District employees in personnel-related matters. 4.Act as a resource to the Superintendent and administration on applicable laws, rules and regulations governing fair employment standards. 5.Develop and implement annual instructional staffing models in cooperation with the assistant superintendent and other appropriate administrators. 6.Act as chief negotiator or assist in contract negotiations. 7.Act as a member of the Superintendent’s Cabinet in carrying out the day-to-day operations of the School District, preparing for and attending all School Board meetings, and advising the Superintendent and Board on matter relating to human resources. 8.Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department. 9.Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superintendent of Schools.

Accounting Coordinator
