Position: Science Teacher (Middle School) 2016-2017 School Year Full-time, 10 months, Exempt Employee Summary: The science teachers is responsible for delivering quality instruction ensuring student academic success in the classroom and/or laboratory setting according to school’s program objectives. Responsibilities: *Prepare lesson plans and conduct daily classroom instruction in appropriate instructional level *Maintain a healthy learning environment for the students in both the classroom as well as instruction *Organize the classroom and learning resources to create a positive learning environment; *Demonstrate effective use of science lab apparatus and equipments *Observe and evaluate student’s to determine student progress or to make suggestions for improvement. *Provide feedback to parents on a student’s progress at conferences and other meeting *Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
