Provides instruction and behavioral interventions for students placed in the River Bend Imprints Program BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Participates as a team member in the planning and implementation of academic/treatment programs for individual students and their families. This includes consultation with school personnel, parents, and appropriate agencies regarding possible intervention strategies for students. 2.Serves as IEP manager for students assigned to the Imprints Program. This includes completion of all necessary due process forms and adherence to due process timelines and other requirements. 3.Provides academic instruction, social skills training and behavioral intervention consistent with each student’s IEP. 4.Participates as part of the team in determining appropriateness of placement of pupils within the Imprints Program. 5.Coordinates the daily activities and supervises Program Support Assistant(s). 6.Adheres to data privacy requirements and other policies as established by River Bend Education District. 7.Develops and designs curriculum which addresses student needs and is consistent with the mission of the Imprints Program. This should reflect, when possible, the curriculum requirements of the resident district. 8.Performs other duties as assigned by the Director and/or Coordinator.

Provides focus on strategic priorities by setting expectations for others while modeling the same professional behavior expected of others. Effectively engages and involves constituencies in the District and Site Strategic Planning processes. Develops strong and effective collaborations with other principals and district administrators to achieve school and District goals. Instructional and Organizational Leadership The Interim Glen Lake Principal is responsible for leading, managing, supervising, and evaluating the school’s educational programs. The Interim Principal has the responsibility and authority to make significant programmatic, budgetary, and staffing decisions within the framework of the school’s strategic plan, policies, and budget. The effective leadership and management of the educational programs at Glen Lake Elementary School, requires the Interim Principal to regularly assess the needs of students, and develop educational policies, programs, structures, and resources to meet the diverse needs of all students. The interim principal will: Create and sustain culturally responsive, high achieving learning environments, and lead staff to identify and systematically apply differentiated instruction and assessment that improves achievement. Define and lead implementation of a system for personalized learning that engages the learner, staff, families, and community as essential partners in supporting academic achievement and personal growth. Engage families and communities as essential partners in the academic achievement. Implement all elements of the District Strategic Plan.

Duties and Responsibilities: *Provide overall direction of the program personnel and students for daily operations in the absence of the manager. *Provide supervision, evaluation and support to staff. *Complete suspension paperwork, contact and notify necessary authorities for incidents resulting in suspension and/or expulsions. *Create, coordinate and maintain master schedule of classrooms, courses and groups for the year. *Assist principal with budget preparation and staffing. *Primary liaison between own school, other schools, students and families for credit, graduation, behavioral or other needs *Maintain student credit evaluation records and transcripts, certify students for completion of graduation credit and testing requirements for home high schools and own school. *Conduct meetings and provide training to a variety of staff specific to the functions of the program. *Perform other duties as assigned.
